Your friendly ol’ Town Crier has missed stomping around London for three days per week, crying about all the wonderful things you can do and see at the Camden Market. When the lockdown started and I, like everyone else, had to stay at home, it was a wrench not being able to spend half of my working week there.

As you’ll all know, I’m a big advocate of the high street – use them or lose them, I say – and the same goes for traditional markets. It was wonderful to see that some of the Camden Market’s traders and independents decided to stay open during this time. These businesses are really important and it’s good to know that they were supported by locals during this difficult time.

As the lockdown eases, I’m looking forward to getting back there as soon as I can. I’m proud to work in the city of London, making sure folk are aware of the most wonderful local businesses you can find at Camden Market. Think Naked Dough and Baba G’s, just to name a few of the mouth-watering eateries I’ve worked with in the area.

If you’ve seen (or heard!) me in Camden Market, I’d love to see your pictures. Email them over to me at alanmyatt@blueyonder.co.uk
