Gosh, there have been a lot of celebrations lately! I told you recently about how I’ve been celebrating 25 years of the National Lottery, and this week I’m celebrating 25 years of the magnificent Camden Market in our wonderful city of London.

I might have mentioned once or twice that I work down that end of town three days a week, but it’s even more magical at the moment, what with all the Christmas decorations and festive extravaganzas taking place. This year we have North London’s longest ice rink, so if you fancy going all Torvill and Dean, head to the rink to show off your skills, you’ll find it’s open until the 9th January.

If you’re visiting the City of London over the festive period be sure to poke your head into Hansel and Gretel’s house, a dessert bar which is guaranteed to make you salivate. I love the quirky places like this that pop up in Camden Market, it makes me realise how lucky I am to be involved with such a wonderful team, in my capacity as official town crier at London’s Camden Market.

Here’s to another 25 years!
