I was thrilled to learn that Gloucester Cathedral has been awarded a well-deserved cash injection, to help during this pandemic. I had the privilege of welcoming Oliver Dowden, Minister for Culture, to the city of Gloucester, where he presented the Cathedral with a cheque for £200,000.

I can’t tell you what this cash injection means to the Cathedral, and indeed the whole city. We’re just so thrilled as it’s been a really tough time all round. I also want to give a huge thanks to MP Richard Graham who is always very proactive when it comes to lobbying and fighting Gloucester’s corner.

We’re all looking forward to when we’ll be able to visit our attractions safely again, and properly enjoy all the wonderful things our city has to offer.
