The last bank holiday weekend in May saw Gloucester Tall Ships festival get underway. It’s an event I always look forward to and this year was no different. It was the 10th anniversary of the festival and visitors came from as far away as Australia to celebrate with us.

From exploring the ships to zip wiring across the docks, there was something for all the family, including a traditional pirate walk. I had a most merry time myself, showing the Mayor and Sheriff around.

As always, I’d love to hear your tales from the Tall Ships festival, drop me a line with all your lovely piccies at alanmyatt@blueyonder.co.uk
