There are two wonderful events happening in our city soon and I simply cannot wait! Following a one-year hiatus, Gloucester’s Retro Festival will be taking place on Saturday 28th August, and one week later we’ll all be celebrating Gloucester Day on Saturday 4th September.

Yes, I look forward to the arrival of these events every year, and 2021 is no different. The Retro Festival is back for the first time since 2019 and it’s more exciting than ever! There’ll be over 500 classic vehicles, iconic fancy dress and vintage acts, including swing dancing.

One week later you’ll find street dancing, epic performances, the mock mayor parade and even a gospel choir, as Gloucester Day gets into full swing. A true day out for all the family, it signifies autumn is on its way and showcases our city in the best light.

The dates for your diary are:

– Gloucester Retro Festival: Saturday 28th August 2021
– Gloucester Day: Saturday 4th September 2021
