There’s no better way to spend a bank holiday weekend than soaking up the sunshine in the Docks. And of course this one was so magical thanks to the majestic arrival of seven tall ships for our very own pirate-tastic Tall Ships Festival. Move over me ‘earties for we know how to hold a good festival here in Gloucester!

The Docks were packed all weekend with eager shoppers, wakeboarders, tall ship enthusiasts and food and drink connoisseurs. Of course I was there performing my usual Town Crier duties and milling in and out of the crowds and generally taking in the festival in all its splendour!

I highly recommend the festivals held at the Docks, for they make marvellous family occasions and there is always something for everyone to enjoy. For more information on this festivals and events held at the Docks, you can visit the Quays website here.
