It always amazes me how times change and things come in and out of fashion. The 70s flares that made a noughties comeback, the recent resurrection of the bygone bread machines and even the resurgence of tie-dye t-shirts. One thing I didn’t think would make a comeback was World War II posters!

The coronavirus pandemic really has hold of the country right now but only the other day my attention was drawn to some wartime posters which resonate more with us today than they have in a very long time. I love the nostalgia of these extremely apt posters and the messaging is particularly poignant now, from ‘is your journey really necessary?’ to ‘coughs and sneezes spread diseases’.

Remember to stay safe folks, and listen to the government advice. We’ll meet again…
