Christmas is magical wherever you are in the country (or world!) but there’s just something a little bit extra special about spending Christmas in the capital. So today I’m reminiscing about impromptu ice rinks, crafty Christmas markets, the wonderful Winter Wonderland and spectacular seasonal West End shows. Yes, I’m looking back on Christmas in London!

Gloucester may well be my home, but London holds a special place in my heart, and I’ll be back there as soon as possible next year. It really is a magical place to spend Christmas, and while this year is a little different to most, there’s always plenty of Christmas cheer to go around.

I’d love to hear your festive stories from the capital, so whether you’ve waltzed in Winter Wonderland or drunk Gluhwein outside the Gherkin, send me your favourite Christmas tales to alanmyatt@blueyonder.co.uk
