When you need to promote a new vehicle called the Bigster, you need someone with a big voice to make the announcement.

Enter yours truly to welcome the new Dacia model as the first Bigsters were delivered to the Royal Portbury Dock in Bristol yesterday. The first model to put its wheels on British soil was a Bigster Journey hybrid 155 in Indigo Blue and a very impressive motor it is indeed.

The Bigster is one of the most hotly anticipated cars of 2025 and I was delighted to give it a quintessentially British welcome with the following proclamation:

“Oyez, oyez, oyez! On this day, the 8th day of April, in the year of our Lord, 2025… we welcome with great pride the very first Dacia Bigster to the United Kingdom shores.

“You know, sometimes big is just what you need. God Save the King!”

More than 500 people have already ordered the Bigster since Dacia began taking orders in the UK a month ago and I’ve no doubt it will prove to be a very popular motor in the UK.
