Hallowe’en is one of my favourite times of the year. I mean, when else does one get the chance to dress up and spend an evening playing ‘trick or treat’? To celebrate Hallowe’en this year I’ll be making a ghostly appearance at Covent Garden, dressed as Henry VIII…but not as you know him.

Yes, for one night only I shall be a grim and ghostly Henry VIII, attempting to scare everyone with the phantom of the notorious Tudor monarch. Don’t expect an appearance from Jane Seymore, Catherine of Aragon or any more of Henry’s famous six wives, for one ghoulish and grisly night only Henry VIII will be stepping out alone for the ultimate evening of scaremongering.

From Boo-tiful Hallowe’en Treats at the Ivy Market Grill to Bone Appetite at the Delaunay Counter, there are many reasons to visit Covent Garden this Hallowe’en. It is, of course, one of my favourite places to visit in the capital, but if you’re lucky enough to be able to stop by in the next week, you’ll be trick or treated to some terrifyingly tremendous events.
