Diplomatic & Civic Events
Tact and diplomacy, flexibility
and empathy, plus a complete understanding of etiquette and protocol.
These are just a few of the extra-special ingredients that are needed
if civic or royal events are to run without a hitch.
As official Town Crier to the City of Gloucester, Town Crier and Marshal to the Court Leet of Barton St Mary and, previously, national coordinator of the Britannic Guild of Toastmasters… it's clear that Alan has a wealth of experience. He's been commissioned to appear at many high profile events, including the Awards Gala Presentation Dinner in front of HRH , the Princess Royal and the World Heavyweight Boxing Championships (Bruno v Lewis) at Cardiff Castle … to name just two.
Alan's flexible approach means
that any number of roles can be adapted to suit the requirements of the
event. From reading proclamations in his role as Town Crier, to calling
for order as Master of Ceremonies or Toastmaster, Alan instinctively knows
the role that will be best suited to the occasion.
